alicia l. m. Mitchell

Alicia LaDonna Marie Mitchell was born at Selfridge Air Force Base in Michigan and raised in the Midwestern town of Toledo, Ohio. After completing four years of high school Junior ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps), she joined the Air Force National Guard. She was assigned to the 180th Tactical Fighter Group as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. 

As Alicia’s life shifted, so did her career. She went on to join the Active Duty Army, becoming a Combat Medical Specialist and achieving the rank of Sergeant! Alicia received a Green to Gold Army ROTC scholarship, graduated with her Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Nursing, and received her commission as a United States Army Officer.

She nobly served as a Registered Nurse in the Army Nurse Corps and after nine years of honorable military service, Captain Alicia Mitchell transitioned from military service to pursue her purpose in the civilian sphere.  

As a Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor, she proudly serves her community in Maternal-Child health. 

She is honored and humbled to be a leader of Destiny Christian Center and Destiny International Ministerial Alliance (D.I.M.A.). 

On December 9, 2020, she had the amazing privilege of pivoting again, becoming a member of The John Maxwell Team and going on to be certified as a Speaker, Trainer, and Coach.

Although Alicia is immeasurably grateful for her achievements over the years, her real biography is this: 

·  She has a Resume - her life is built upon The Rock. 

·  She has a Pedigree - her life was saved when Jesus died for her on Calvary. 

·  She has a Mission - to encourage everyone God gives her. 

·  She has a Destiny - that God would forever use her for His glory!
